What toddler friendly TS do you recommend?

This is our first trip with baby short of a quick 3 day stay in July. We did great at Boma with the baby. Does anyone recommend any other toddler friendly TS eateries. We are open to just about anything.

Well, my middle DS was 16 months his first trip and 28 months his second. Is that a close enough comparison?

When he was younger, he did very well with character meals that had mostly face characters (so princesses, 1900 PF, etc.) and CP ... he has always loved Pooh and the Gang. The other non-talking characters scared him a bit with the exception of another fave, Garden Grill, but he was over that by his second trip. At GG, the characters worked to overcome his hesitation and the restaurant also revolves which is an added bonus for keeping them interested.

He loves Biergarten. The oompah music is so much fun and they encourage kids to dance in the center.

We had an early dinner at Kona Cafe when it wasn't too crowded and the servers were WONDERFUL with him, giving him lots of attention and distraction.

He loved HDDR. I thought he wouldn't last but he was fascinated the entire show, just gnawing on a piece of corn most of the time. (OTOH, the Luau bored him, literally, to tears)

Generally, buffets have worked best for our kids at this age. Immediate gratification!

Coral Reef had an emergency and shut down while we were waiting to be seated. I really think the fish would be fun for little ones. We'll be testing that this month, so I can't say for sure!

Cape May is another place that is fairly good. They have paper on the tables and crayons so the kids are occupied while they are eating. There is also quite a bit for them to eat if they are picky.

Pretty much all the TS restaurants are toddler friendly - it's Disney afterall. We did Kona Cafe with DD3 and DD5. Great food there. Spoodles also has great food.

All depends on you and your toddler. We've been taking DS to a high end restaurant in town (The Palm) since he was a week old and nobody 'gives us the hairy eyeball'. He isn't a very fussy/noisy baby though.

While at WDW in May (he was 18 months old then) we ate at Le Cellier and O'hana. I would say O'hana was actually a little harder (even though it's more active etc) because it took longer. But he still did well at both places.

Hollywood and Vine have a new character meal with Little Einsteins and JoJo circus characters. If you watch the Disney Channel, maybe that would be a good option. My friend did that meal with her 3 year old son and he absolutely loved it!

I have heard that the family style restaurants are actually a little more restful with a toddler because you aren't constantly having to get up and get more food for everyone.

I would say that my DS seemed to enjoy Liberty Tree Tavern the most when we went. He loved the mac and cheese!
