hi there, my husband and I are taking our 2 daughters to wdw in February 10-17th and I havent got a clue what to pack? any ideas would be helpful.

WE are staying onsite at the Allstar resorts. I was told to ask about buildings and airconditioning?

Thanks
CherylAnn

I suggest you pack warm and cold clothes. We have been to WDW in February when it was hot. But at night it cools off. So long pants and jackets would be good along with the shorts.

we are also going to be there that week, Feb 7-14. I talked to a friend who lived there and she suggested layers. T-shirt then a long slv shirt or sweatshirt, some shorts and capris (hide those white legs). Kids are easy, their clothes are small and you can pack extra.
I am 6 mths pg so I have my own challenges on wardrobe so any help there would be great.
I am still undecide on how heavy of a coat and if I should bring rain gear. I know it doesn't rain like the summer time but who knows?

We will also be there the same week. I plan on bringing one pair of jeans and one pair of athletic pants and a jacket for each of us.. The rest shorts and capris for my daughter and I. Can't stand to take any pants to sunny Florida but I would rather be safe than sorry. If I need to wash the pants I will do so in the resort laundromat. We went to Disney in 2001 and actually got the first hot spell since Christmas that year. They haven't had real warm temps for a few weeks . Maybe we will get a hot spell. Coming from Va and anything is better than the 10's we have had off and on. Oh and don't forget the wind chills.

We, too are going the same week. Been watching the weather but its kinda hard to feel what 66 degrees is like when we are in the single digits here. I will be packing jeans...I dont think its gonna be warm enough for shorts. Also tops will be layers with short sleeve, long sleeve then sweatshirts. I am seeing the morning temps to be like high 40's. Big difference compared to the day time.

We too will be there the week of Feb 7 -14 (Pop Century). We were at Disney this same time last year. We only packed short and tees for the girls. We had to go buy sweatshirts one morning as it was very cold. In the mornings and after the sun goes down it does get very chilly. However, during the day it is very nice, short weather for us. This year, I have already packed and repacked our suitcases!! I have opted for capris and maybe one pair of jeans/athletic pants and I did throw in a couple of pairs of shorts. They will each have a hoodie to take. I agree with the above posts, layers will work best.

Cya There!!

:wave2:

We'll be a Pops Century too. Im glad im not the only one who is packing. I have requested building 5 and 6. One in 60's one in 70's. Probably won't get them though. It doesn't matter we will be at WDW!!!!!

I've been to Disney the past 2 years during the early part of February. The average Temperature for this time of year is 72º during the day and 51º at night.

Viewing pictures from the last trip, I noticed that not only am I exceedingly handsome and a babe magnet, but that most of the time folks were in short sleeves and shorts. Plan on a wind breaker and or sweater for the evenings.

WE WILL BE THERE FEB. 2ND - FEB. 9TH. I PACKED ONE PAIR OF SHORTS, ONE PAIR OF JEANS,4 T-SHIRTS AND 4 PAIRS OF SWEATSUITS. NOW I AM WONDERING IF I SHOULD PACK MORE SHORTS!!!!!

Today was sunny and high 80. When I checked this morning the temp at 8am was 64. THis is the first really beautiful temp i seen for the past week. DIdnt get much over lower 70's all week. Lows were in the high 40's low 50's (better then what i got here...single digits)

I would bring layers. Yes we had 80 degree temps the other day but for the next several days it will be in the 60's. We had a frost this morning also.

Hi everyone.. Thanks for all you great imput... It will be interesting tosee what kind of weather we end up getting. I have been checking the weather channel here everyday just to get an idea of what to bring.. My daughters are 3 and 7 so their stuffwont be much to pack . I can pack for both seasons . the hard part is figuring out my husband and I. I look forward to readign more suggestions.. Have a great day and Thanks so much!

We were at WDW during Feb. 2002 and looking at our pictures, we mostly wore pants or capris for the girls. We even started the day out with light sweaters. Mostly wore short sleeve t's under the sweaters though.

My husband mostly wore shorts, guess it is just a mixed bag during this time of the year. Last year we went during March and wore shorts more than the previous year. We even took a day out for Blizzard Beach and the weather was great.

Going back this March and plan on more shorts than pants.

Enjoy your vacation!

We're going to be there Feb. 8-15, and I've been checking The Weather Channel's website. They give a 10 day forecast (although I don't know how on target it will be for the latter part of the trip), and they're showing rain around midweek, and slightly cooler temps. by Friday (high 60's, lows in 40's). We'll definitely be packing for both seasons, especially since we'll be camping at FW and spending a little more time outdoors. Maybe the forecast will change by then and it will be a little warmer! :sunny:

I guess we'll all be bumping into each other - wear lime green.

Anyhow, one thing NO ONE SHOULD FORGET TO BRING - raincoats or ponchos.

See y'all next week and the week thereafter!:teeth: :teeth:

We are also leaving tomorrow and staying the week, I am not liking the 10 day forcast at all but what are we gonna do about that??? nothing. THe week is planned and we are gonna have a ball.

Thanks to every one who took the time to reply to my question of what to wear this coming week. Unfortunately it looks like we are not able to go. My daughter (7yr) spent the night in emergency with an ear drum that is about to burst and the 3yr old and i arent feeling much better. We are due to fly out on tuesday , the dr says no flying so needless to say we have a few broken hearts here. Now allwe have ot figure out how to cancel and rebook!!
thanks again

I am so sorry CherylAnn! Hope you and your family are able to re-book SOON.

For other readers of this thread, DH and I just got back today from WDW. During the time we were there, temperatures ranged from the mid 40s to the mid 80s, so don't forget your layers!

Darnit! And I was going to ask you to post what you felt when you got home because we're going in a few weeks...

Chin up though. We had to cancel a few years back and were so disappointed.....right up until we arrived a few months later!;)

Sorry I cant help you on what we wore, My 7yr old ended up in the emergency room with an ear drum ready to burst so we were not allowed to fly so we have lost out on our trip. WE paid canadian at par but Disney will not honour our booking and allow us to rebook under the dream maker package that we had bought. SO Idont know if we are going to be able to go now. Needless to say I have 2 brokenhearted little girls... I hope you have a great vacation and are able to keep healthy so that you are able to go. Right now Im so disillusioned with Disney right now .

Thanks for asking though, wish I could help you
