OK, so we aren't doing anything too fancy-Ohana's, HoopDeDoo, Chef Mickey's for breakfast, Crystal Palace, Maya Grill.... but if we are going in September when it is 95 in the shade, my question is-do you need to bring a jacket or something to keep you from freezing to death. Here in Michigan in the summer you can become an icicle in some of the restaurants. Inquiring minds need to plan what to pack!!! :confused3

I always take a sweater or light sweatshirt. I usually put it in a locker at the park where we are dining (unless it is a really light one and then I tie it around my waist). I am a freezy cat...just ask my DH...and am always yelling at him for having the air conditioning blasting! :lmao: Some of the restaurants are very chilly.

DW always carriues a sweater, even when it's 99 out! :scared1:

She gets cold in ac. :lmao:

We did not carry sweaters in August and DD was very cold in Hoop-Dee-Do. Our server (Dallas :woohoo: ) noticed and brought a clean table cloth for her to wrap around her shoulders.

I am now in the take a sweater crowd.

What about one of the pretty cotton shawls that you can just fold up and keep in your back pack, or tie across your shoulders in the restaurants? I have a very lightweight cotton shirt that ties in the front that is "supposed" to look a little wrinkled. The cool thing is that it came with a little cotton bag to keep it in so it fits right in my bag. I always keep with me in Disney. Mine came from JJill, but I have seen the same type of shirts at other stores. Have a great trip!

I also squish a jacket in the bottom of our backpack for the day. I'm ALWAYS cold and WDW really keeps things freezing.

I end up pulling it out for most shows and even some indoor rides, too.

I was there with FD last September so we had alot of TS. I never got cold. It was such a relief to be out of the heat!
