What to wear to Cirque?

Cirque's "Dralion" is in Baltimore, and DH and I are going tomorrow night. Having never been to a Cirque performance, and not even really knowing much about it, I'm wondering about the "dress code" for it. Is it the kind of thing you dress up for, like going to the theatre? Or is it something people just dress casually for, like going to the movies or to the circus?

Just don't want to be out of place...

I have only been to Cirque at WDW. In the summer, I wear a summer dress with sandals, winter I wore black slacks, sweater, and a Mickey Mouse scarf around my neck with heels.

When we saw Dralion last summer, people were wearing all sorts of different things.
Jeans, shorts (it was a warm day), dresses, slacks.
I don't think it matters.
Is your performance in a theater? Or their traveling tent/thingee?
If it's the tent, the seating is VERY tight.

I've only seen Mystere, in Las Vegas. That show is in one of the hotels on the strip. We wore "dressy casual" outfits...DH had Dockers and a dress shirt on, I had khaki pants and a dressy blouse on. There were some people very dressy and some in shorts, t-shirts and flip flops, but most were "dressy casual".

I wore jeans when we were in WDW. I think when we go to Dralion in August, I will wear something casual/dressy.

Please let me know what it is like! I have a long way to wait, but we love Cirque.

I saw Dralion Easter Sunday and I was wearing a fairly dressy dress and heels. I was definitely in the minority by being so dressed up. Most of the audience was dressed fairly casually -- jeans, shorts, casual slacks, etc.

I would suggest that you dress for comfort. The interior of the tent is temperature controlled and quite comfortable for the audience.

Enjoy the show. It is truely awesome!

I've only been to Cirque at WDW. I wore a black skirt, nice top, and sandals. DH wore a collared shirt and khakis.

All the above. I have seen WDW and both in LV and have dressed my normal casual, collared shirt, docker slacks in LV, nice shorts at WDW. All fabulous shows, enjoy.
