What to wear premium ecoomy

and in terms of value for money - is it worth it over travelling economy/coach ....

OMG yes!! we travel alot (at least 5 transatlantic a year) and always book PE and then use the miles once a year to have a free Upper Class return trip.

PE - especially upstairs - is MUCH bigger, the seats are MUCH bigger, the legroom is MUCH bigger. thats what I pay for, knowing that I can have a relaxing flight, without my knees to my elbow and seats that hardly recline as per coach.

its all about priorities - I can afford it, it doesnt take budget away from my vacation so I will book PE.

If the scenario was that it left me with less money for my vacation once we got there - I would possibly rethink it.

and in terms of BA v Virgin on PE - Virgon walks all over BA, better seats, better space, better entertainment. Where it does lack is in the cabin crew - BA is much more professional and mature..which I do like.

Last trip (we went with First Choice Star Class Premiere) we wore "smart casual" outfits DH wore stone colour loose fit linen trousers and short sleeve checked shirt and stone colour suede slip-on shoes, DS wore a loose blue and white short sleeve shirt 3/4 length linen boarder trousers and sandals I wore a pink fitted t-shirt pink cotton boarder trousers and pink suede slip-on shoes. No one in that cabin wore sweat tops or jogging bottoms or dodgy knock-offs of designer tops etc.Everyone had comfy outfits on and a couple of older families had their jackets and cardigans with them.
We'll try to wear comfy clothes again on our trip in June:grouphug:
