Since we have booked Randy Chapman, we have received the honeymoon shoot in place of our wedding photography. Since we have scheduled an MK photo shoot already, we are doing the honeymoon shoot at 9:30 a.m. in the Epcot World Showcase, (DF's fave park)

My planner said wear comfy shoes and casual clothes, but I don't want to be tooooo casual, because these are professional pics. We are not planning on staying at the park afterward, because we are having our MK shoot at 5:00 a.m., then going back to the hotel to change, then on to WS to have the honeymoon shoot, so we will be exhausted and plan on a non-park day that day.

Soooooo, I was thinking I would like to wear a cute sundress and sandals and have DH wear nice khakis and a polo shirt......do you think that would be ok? Too dressy? Not dressy enough? Gimme your opinions! TIA! :yay:

TinkBride, we're doing the same thing! DF's favorite park is Epcot as well (which is why we're also doing at least 3 tours there!). Anywho, what you're thinking for the shoot matches what I'm thinking. I don't want to get *too* dressed up, for fear that someone "official" will say something and we'll get in trouble for whatever reason.

On a not-really-related note, DF is a cast member who works the front gates ticket-taking at MK. He told me the other day (which I thought was HILARIOUS) that if an adult comes in wearing a princess dress or otherwise too closely resembles a character, she'll be asked to change so as not to confuse other park guests. So remember, TinkBride, don't go to Epcot dressed as Cindy or Aurora, else you'll be asked to leave. :rotfl:

i had engagment photos done not at disney but, i was told that the more casual the better. they say that the more comfortable the clothes the more natural you are. And in honeymoon photos you want to look happy and relaxed. so i say khaki and white. Also, light colors show up better on camera, so if you have them b/w it will show more.

have fun and enjoy

When we did our honeymoon photos we wore jeans and matching white t-shirts that were specially made for us while at Disney. Now, that's our personalities though- we love to be casual and just look like our "normal" selves so if we got copies and gave them to people they wouldn't be shocked at the way we looked while at Disney (even though they were professional) I say, do what makes you comfortable. If you feel better in a sundress then do that. Just wear comfy shose because alot of walking goes on while taking the pictures
