Our group of 6 moms are divided. I plan on Disney bounding as Snow White with a friend as Evil Queen, the other 4 seem to think it would be cool to make matching shirts (very WDW). I keep telling them that I never see matching shirts in DL. What is your experiences? Would love to get an outside opinion on this.

I made my matching shirts! But Disneybounding is super cute and I intend to incorporate jewelry and purses to my Disney style! I joke that I must look very cute at Disneyland because it's the only place anyone compliments any of my clothes!! In my opinion, it wouldn't matter if two of your group just didn't match the others. And there are a lot of matching homemade shirts around Disneyland, which I probably only notice because I made ours. Lots of family groups, and it does make a cute group picture!

Last year when I accidentally went to the 24hr event (didn't know,it was that day,MIT was just a regular visit), I saw many people dressed is costumes, either Disney costumes or Dr. Who (was surprised about that one). To be honest, when I was an annual pass holder I noticed many families wear matching shirts, so I don't think it's just DW.

I have also seen lots of matching shirts at DLR. Last year they encouraged costumes because of the "Rock your Disney Side" and "Villans" themes, but this year I thought I read that costumes are not allowed. I was also thinking of Disneybounding as Snow White, but I would need to buy too many things to make it work. Instead, I will dress in the same 60th anniversary colors as Mickey and Minnie. For comfort purposes I will also bring sweats or PJ pants to chance into during the wee hours.

One major tip for the 24 hour event is layering! It's one thing to be in the parks a few hours after sunset, and another thing to be at Disneyland at 3 am (it gets progressively colder as the night wears on and any heat emanating from the pavement/buildings dissipates). I fully plan on Disneybounding as Ariel in her blue dress (blue skirt, black tank top, white jacket, blue hairbow, black flats...with jeans to change into later in a locker).

I am hoping my best friend makes the 3 of us matching shirts if not than just wear tshirt and have stuff in my room to change if needed

My sister and I are still trying to decide as well. She found a cute Ariel dress and I have a Cinderella one. We are also gonna have a shirt and pants for back up in a locker as well. Our shirts are Disney as well, the husband on the other hand could care less hahahaha.

I've made 3 DisneyBounds...I'm leaning more towards "little town" Belle because I have long dark brown hair and so I could pull it off better ;) What do y'all think? :D I'll be bringing a blue cardigan for the chillier night time weather. I'm really hoping I can pull it off. Otherwise I'm just going with my Mickey Mouse disneybound. Maybe I'll just do both!!

I'm going to be there the day before as well, but I'm bringing 2 disneybounding outfits (Anna and Snow White) and the 24 hour t-shirt that was sold to AP holders earlier this month. I plan on bounding most of the day, but will have comfy pants and the 24 hour shirt for late night. I do see a lot of matching shirts at DL, but it's not like WDW, where it seems everyone matches.

I see matching shirts in DL all the time. That being said, I see a lot more people wearing random Disney shirts than matching or disneybounding. I'm sure your group will look great even if you are not all dressed the same.

That was the theme last year. Normally adults aren't allowed to wear costumes outside of Halloween parties.

I love this idea! I have not spent much time planning outfits for our DLR trip in July (we're always in matching stuff at WDW). I think I will get bright red t-shirts and do some design in the turquoise blue. Should be able to get DS and DH and to wear it too :) This would be really fun for July 17th itself. Alternatively, the girls can wear bright red and the boys wear blue. Don't think I can get DH in red shorts/pants though ROFL!
