I am wondering if the experts can help me. We are going to Disney in exactly 6 months:) We are going with a group of 13 people and we are thinking of eating at California Grill on the last night as a very special dinner/end of trip. What do men typically wear at this restaurant?? Also has any had any luck getting a ressie for a larger group here? TIA:)

You will love this restaurant! I wish I could live in it.

My husband wore nice dress khakis and a polo shirt. That should do it!
(There were men in nice jeans and polos as well).

Really did not see anyone much more dressed up than that. Nice slacks on some.

I wore a dressy tank and a skirt.

Cannot wait - we are eating there again on my 30th birthday, October 9!

ENJOY!

Dress khakis, nice jeans, or even a nice pair of shorts with a polo shirt is perfectly acceptable.

I like to shoot for "business casual", but I have seen some pretty amazing outfits at the CG

I had no problems getting a ADR for here - there are 9 of us going to celebrate my 36th B-day.
We did call right at the 180 day mark to ensure we would have no problems. We were told at some restaurants that they would most likely need to put us in two tables but they would be next to each other (I don't believe CG stated that though).

The dress code states "Business casual" so most of us will be wearing slacks or skirts and the men will be in kahkis and short sleeve button down shirts or polo shirts.

The business casual dress code at disney basically means no torn clothing, bathing suits or coverups, no hats for men, no beach flipflops and no tshirts with offensive graphics/words.

Technically you'd be fine in jeans or shorts and a plain t-shirt, however many chose to wear a polo and khaki pants or shorts. Sandals or sneakers are fine for shoes. You'll see a wide range of dress at any of the signature restaurants - from tshirts to tuxedos - and all are well within the disney "business casual" guidelines.

We just ate there last week and wore khakis and collared shirts. I agree with the other posts, jeans and t-shirts are okay but this is a little more fancy. The food was great and so was our service.

I usually wear shorts and either a Disney T-shirt, or a short sleeve polo.
I'd advise that your men wear whatever they feel most comfortable in within the stated dress code, and don't worry a whole lot as to how you might "look" to others.
