What to use DDP credits on and what to pay OOP?

My family has the basic Dining Plan with one TS credit per person per day. Which means we each have 4 TS credits to use. We have ADRs for CRT, Akershus, Jedi Mickey at Hollywood and Vine and the Star Wars Breakfast at Sci-Fi.

That's 7 TS credits...My thought is to use our Dining Plan for CRT and Jedi Mickey since they are 2 TS each and they are the most expensive meals and then pay OOP for Akershus and the Star Wars Breakfast.

Do you all think that is a good idea??

It's our 1st time with the TS dining plan and our 1st time doing TS meals period.

That said, are the two-credit meals really twice the price of the one credit meals? Akershus is usually one of the best uses of a dining credit.

I would pay the Star Wars OOP. Akershus is not cheap, so I would use a credit on that.
Actually, I would ditch one of those breakfasts, pay OOP for the other, make sure that CRT is dinner, book Akershus and one more nice TS meal that is not buffet. You are heavy on buffet.

The value of a TS credit is roughly $38, so choose the meals that are less expensive than that. If it's a 2 credit meal, the total needs to be around $75 to make it the better value.

It looks like you have three Disney adults. I'm wondering if upgrading to the DxDDP and making some more ADRs would be a good idea. You already have three 2 credit meals. Is there time in your schedule for a couple more? The way it is, I'm not sure how you will use your credits anyway. For the 3 of you, you have 12 credits total. That means the decision is really already made for you. Akershus has to be OOP or your credits won't work for the other meals. What meal of the day is Akershus and CRT?

I think we got it figured out with all your suggestions. I figured out what the price would be with my original idea verses your suggestions of using a credit on Akershus and adding another 1 credit meal, then paying OOP for the 2 Star Wars meals and it was a better deal to pay OOP for the Star Wars and get another 1 credit meal. It was almost the same price!

Here's our schedule now:
Cape May for Dinner on our arrival day (1 credit) (when we don't have a park ticket anyway)
Akershus Dinner on our Epcot day (1 credit)
CRT Dinner on our Magic Kingdom day (2 credits)
Star Wars Sci-Fi Breakfast (OOP) and Jedi Mickey Dine at Hollywood and Vine for Dinner (OOP) on our Hollywood Studios day.
