Just an alternate view, but I've never been crazy about Pleasure Island and I think CityWalk is fantastic!

I love Citywalk. Lots of good restaurants. Listening to Dueling Pianos at Pat O'Briens is great fun. Lots of neat shops and a movie theater at Citywalk also. Parking after 6:00pm is free.

Old Town is fun.

I haven't been yet, but the new Millenium Mall is supposed to be quite nice.

Belz factory outlet if you want to do some discount shopping.

Go hotel hopping on property. Or go over to check out the Gaylord Palms. It is incredible and well worth the cost of parking. You can easily spend an hour checking out the lobby and if you'd like, you can have a drink or a snack at the bar or one of the restaurants.

go to old town, so much fun off 192 i think just left there and i cannot remember

Out of curiousity, where do you park when you go just to Citywalk? We've always gone there on the water taxi from the Hard Rock. I remember that when we parked at Universal it was a long, long, walk from the theme park parking to the actual them park. We're not staying onsite this time or doing the theme parks but we also we enjoy Citywalk.

Thanks
Jenn

I went to Old Town once when in the area but unable to visit the parks. Was a pleasant diversion, as I recall.

Explore the area! There is so much there besides the parks, hotel hopping is great! when it was raining one day we walked around wilderness lodge, polynessian, contemporary, etc. Drive around Orlando to see whats there- its nice have a rental car so you can see what else the town has to offer.
