What to take to parks....

For those who go and stay all day, what do you take to the parks?
If we want to take snacks, or small lunch, etc?
Backpack? Cooler?

Don't want to have anything too complicated to cart around with us but want to have something that will hold everything we may need.

And I assume there are places to leave your things while on the rides?

My family always made us each carry a backpack with wallet, phones/camera, sunscreen, water bottle, a couple snacks, first aide kit, sunglasses, and sweatshirt. It always worked for us.
Most rides have a place to store your belongings but not all, i think the parks all have lockers you can rent though or leave it with one of the members of your group not going on that ride.

We have one person carry a backpack and always bring sunscreen and hand sanitizer and band aids. We are lucky one of my daughters great aunts comes along and since she can ride only a fraction of the rides everything gets dumped on her and her putt putt.
