We are helping family members on their first trip to WDW. They will be staying at the BWV in a 1 bedroom from June 10 - June 19. We've already requested non-smoking (medical reasons), but I was wondering what else to add? I've never stayed at the BWV (the BCV is our home), so the details are all new to me. Any thoughts to help make this trip magic for them?

Close to the elevators (for strollers, wheelchairs, etc) or farther from elevators (for quieter room)

View of Luna park (main pool w slide), quiet pool /Community hall , or croquet lawn / canal

upper floor or perhaps lobby level

Just list the requests in the order of importance. The more you have, the more likely you are to be disappointed.

If view isn't all that important, just go with N/S and close/not to elevators if that is relevant to your situation.

In spite of all the posts to the contrary, I don't think there are any bad views at the BWV - people just have differing expectations related to the standard view / preferred view breakdown. (IMHO, some think if the view doesn't match thier idea of "perfect", it should cost standard view points). :teeth:

Best wishes-

I was thinking about asking for 1st floor/pool view so the kids could come and go. Has anyone ever had that? We have a 1 bedroom for july.

Carol - Thanks so much! That's the exact info we were hoping to get!

I was just at Boardwalk and had a first floor pool view. This is the 4th time that I have requested this and it works out great. You can walk to the pool, you can walk out directly to the boardwalk and there are no waits for the elevators. There are plenty of doors outside on the 1st. floor so that you always have quick access.
