I know this has been talked about before...So, I'm sorry...
but what does everyone pack for the day? Here is what I have planned

Sweatshirts (we're going in Jan)
Camera
FILM!!! & batteries
Snacks-crackers and cheese and such...I have to have something with meds that I am on and if we're in line for a ride I dont want to interupt that)
Ponchos
Handy Wipes/Purell
KTTW Card (obviously)
$$$, Disney Dollars, Quarters, pennies etc
Lip Gloss
sun tan lotion
bug repellant

Does that cover it? or is there something I'm missing?
I'm hoping to get this all in a waist pack-that way I can get some sun on my back!!!! I need a good tan!!!

We don't bother with the bug repellant. I've been bit twice at Disney and it isn't worth coating myself in DEET over (yeah, Nile sucks, cancer sucks just as bad, I'll save my DEET exposure for the North woods of Minnesota where the mosquitos are the size of hummingbirds and flock in thick clouds).

And I don't bother with wipes, unless we are also carrying diapers (but those days are over for us!).

And since we moved digital, no film.

We don't tend to do pressed pennies, so we don't worry about quarters and pennies.

Sweatshirts if its a cold season. Mid times - like this October - we brought light jackets a few mornings.

We will also bring a bottle of water or two.

But other than that, you have our list.

My husband can do the fanny pack. I end up with the sweatshirts and water in a backpack or single shoulder bag.

Our Tote Around List....(almost everything goes in a baggie)

Sweatshirt/person
T-shirt/person
A pair of Socks/person
Clean Washcloth in a baggie
Purel
Camera
Batteries
Film
Walkie Talkies
Batteries
Rain Ponchos
2 empty Gallon Sized Baggies for wet ponchos or whatnot
Tampons/Pads
Advil Liquidgels
Albuterol Inhaler
Sunglasses
Sunscreen
Stain Stick...this saved 2 shirts last trip.
KTTW....obviously
Pennies and Quarters
Occasionally, the video camera and extra tapes

I hope this helps. Mickey

PS. Our vacations are just the two of us, both are adults. I like to be prepared!

I like to be ready too! I spend too much time out in the wilderness!!!

I carry some of the things already mentioned, but adding:

band-aids/neosporin

a few safety pins (I've not had to use any yet, but I always have some with me b/c I know when I don't THAT is when I'll need it :p )

mints

EXTRA CONTACTS! (if you wear them)
I lost one of mine on Space Mountain (it literally flew right out of my eye :p). Luckily I'd thrown a spare pair in my bag just in case, otherwise I would've been bumping into stuff for the rest of the day. Which I guess wouldn't have been bad if said stuff was Prince Charming puckerup:. BTW, anyone know where to find him? I saw him backstage when I was in the parade a few years ago, but I didn't get a chance to say hi :(, and I'd love to see him again.
Ok, now I've wandered completely off subject...
but take extra contacts!!

Pack as little as possible!!!! We made the mistake of taking way too much with us to the parks. The first two days we backed a backpack full with extra clothes, socks, bandaids, snacks, extra extra diapers, water bottle for all 4 of us, sunblock, bug repellent, games for the kids(dd6, dd2)for standing in line. And also a big hip pack with $, disney$, more snacks, camera and extra film, wipes and diapers. We got smart at day 3. We didn't use anything from our backpack so I only took the hip pack. Which was a great way to carry everything. My husband's shoulders were definetly glad that we stopped bringing the big pack.
Our hip pack was a bigger type North Face sorry I can't tell you the exact type. And it was perfect because it went everywhere with us and it wasn't too bulky. It had holders for two water bottles so then we just shared. I definetly recommend going light. If there is anything at all that you need they definetly have it there. Put sunblock on in the morning before going to the park. we did this every morning and never got burnt. And we are all fair.

Here's our list:

My fanny pack
MOLESKIN - precut into sizes I might need
tiny bottle of saline (for rinsing contacts)
chapstick & lipstick
earplugs (many rides are just too LOUD)
Palm Pilot (can't live without it)
sun glasses (with cloth bag to put them in)
small travel container with Tylenol, Excederin, Ammodium, Tagamet
money/cc/kttk/DVC/AAA cards & annual pass
raincoat (if potential for rain) - rolled up and attached to belt of fanny pack with elastics
Pedometer

My husband's fanny pack
Digital camera
extra memory cards
extra battery
his cash & kttk + annual pass
small waterbottle (we share, and fill up at water fountains)
raincoat (if potential for rain) - rolled up and attached to belt of fanny pack with elastics

We're able to get away with putting on sunscreen in the AM and not reapplying.
