Have been reading some reviews of Tony's (as always, some love it and some hate it). Just wondering for those of you who have had a good meal there, what have you had? Has anyone had the gnocchi? How about the catch of the day? And dessert- too many of them look so good, I'll never decide. What do you recommend?

My husband orders the NY Strip steak everytime we go for dinner - for lunch he had the baked ziti which he said was just OK. I have always had the spaghetti with meatballs. My MIL had the chicken parm. on our last trip and liked it very much. I think I will try the chicken parm. in June.

We always get the tiramisu. Love it!

We ate there for the first time (out of 22 trips for me! LOL!) last July and it was honestly one of the best meals of the week! I got the shrimp scampi and loved it... DH got the spaghetti and meatballs and also liked his meal very much :)

I love the shimp scampi, it is excellent! The calamari appie is a must for us, it is the best calamari in all of WDW

I would recommend either the Eggplant Catasta or the Baked Ziti. On our last trip my family (of 6) each got one of these with the exception of my little brother who got mickey raviolis. We all loved what we got!

I think we both got the chicken parm and it was delicious!!! The key lime pie dessert was outstanding too. My DH loved it so much, we're eating there twice this coming trip.

Thank you for asking this....as we are eating there too for the first time and a bit nervous!

I had a chopped salad with shrimp for lunch a couple of weeks ago. It was very good and exactly what I wanted on a hot day. Hubby had a special - flatbread meat trio and liked it too. I had tiramisu, it was a little bland, but very creamy and cool. Hubby's citrus walnut cake was also really good, I had a bite or three. It was actually one of our favorite meal, hope you enjoy it.

Oh - We were on the dlx, but I'd buy the zucchini fries app regardless - they were really good!

I'm thinking the menu has changed since the last time I was there BUT after hearing all the horrible reviews, I ordered the penne pasta with shrimp and artichokes and it was delicious!!!! We were on the meal plan and the value was really good...the salad was great and so was the dessert. Plus we ate outside and got to see the Hallowishes parade even tho we weren't staying for the Halloween party. Not on the meal plan this trip, but would have no problem eating that same dish if it is still offered.

When I went there for dinner in August 2010 I thought it was good and I ordered the Shrimp Scampi, however I also asked for them not to include the Asparagus which they did without any problems.

Thanks, everyone! Yum, my mouth is watering. We'll be eating there for dinner on the DDP. My sister will be with us, not on the DDP, so maybe I can convince her to order the calamari as her meal and share with me. But I may have to get the zucchini fries all for myself. :) I hadn't even noticed the shrimp scampi on the menu, but now I see it, and wow, it sounds delicious! Hmm, pistachio creme brulee, tiramisu, and lemon walnut cake. That will be a tough choice! Hopefully DH will get one and I'll get one and we can share.

Anyone have any input into the kids' meals? DD7 will likely get the Mickey ravioli (is it edible?) and DS9 will just want plain pasta or maybe the grilled fish (wonder if he could get that with plain pasta instead of rice pilaf and veggies?).

Keep those suggestions coming!

Are these only on the lunch menu?

My DH and I went in May 2010 and really enjoyed it. I had the gnocchi and they were really good, very light and they were in a nice cream sauce.

We love Tony's I had the New York Strip and loved it, dd had the chicken parm and enjoyed it but would have rather had angel hair than spaghetti. DH had mushroom ravioli and said it was fab! we can't remember what the other two had but do know that the meal was a huge success. Hope you enjoy!

Another vote for the Shrimp Scampi with Asparagus...delicious! Also, my DH & DS loved the Ice Cream Bomb for dessert.
