We have reservations for the California Grill and I have no clue what neither my DH or I would order (found the menu on WDW info). What would you recommend? We aren't fancy food eaters, but can appreciate finer dining foods, but don't want to go too extreme. Any pictures if you have them would be helpful....the search doesn't seem to be working!!

Honestly - we have never really ordered anything that was bad. There are things that are more our favorites than others... we really like the sushi there- if you like sushi this is the place to get it. The tuna three way is terrific as are the hurricane rolls, we love the flatbreads as well. Honestly I could just eat those and skip an entree but entreewise I love the pork and the filet dish. If you love cheese- get a cheese course!
Enjoy... you know come to think of it- the only thing we did have that was disappointing- not bad but disappointing was the infamous goat cheese ravioili.

I always get the steak. It is sooooooooooooooooooo good!

We LOVE :lovestruc the goat cheese ravioli appetizer.

The sushi is the best I have ever had & they have no problem customizing it for you.

When the heirloom tomatoes are in season, the BLT flatbread is delish.

Steaks, pork tenderloin, chocolate Valrhona dessert...

YUM!

I had the steak and mashed potatoes last July and it was amazing! DH had the red snapper which was also excellent.

We were told the menu is always changing so you never know. I have to say I initially panicked when I looked at the menu because I didn't understand half of what was written on the menu but was happy with my choice. It is a classy place and we made it our anniversary dinner.

I love the pork tenderlion and polenta!!! Any soup I've ever ordered is also wonderful...:goodvibes

I really enjoyed the goats cheese ravioli, followed by chicken, while DF had the mushroom flatbread followed by lamb.

We were there for our anniversary and will be going back for the meal after our wedding :lovestruc

We love the flatbreads, sushi, filet & scallops. Here's a link for pics:

Thanks everyone! My husband and I are a little on the picky side, and my dad who is going is very picky, so I am thinking the steak and potatoes dish is probably going to be the best thing.

We had the fillet mignon and smashed potatoes when we went!! They were super yummy!!

It depends on which one you order. Yoshi's Deluxe Sushi Platter and Snake in the Grass are entrees, while all the rest are appetizers.

Thanks! :thumbsup2 That's good to know.

DD (21) is the sushi queen and looking forward to trying it... along with the sushi at Tokyo Dining, another of our ADR's. :cheer2:
