We'll be going there next week for the first time. What do you suggest there for adults and kids? Thanks!

Salad wedge and the fried chicken. Really yummy........

The one thing that totally stands out from our meal at the 50's prime time was the sugarfree cheese cake! It was so yummy and didn't taste sugarfree :thumbsup2

hubby had some type of pasta dish he said was very good.... Mom's meatloaf was a crowed pleaser too (I myself don't like meatloaf)

Make sure you put your elbows on the table

I dont' know about the kids menu. However the sampler platter that has the chicken, meat loaf, and pot roast is amazing!

The fried chicken is pretty darn good. My DH really like the pot roast. The fried chicken plate has 3 (pretty large) pieces, DH usually gets the pot roast, eats all his and then I give him a piece of my chicken-oink, oink!!!

I do not think you can get white meat only...but they give you SO much chicken you will be full with the white meat that is on there. The pot roast is also amazing.

I liked the pot roast... but the milkshakes were perfect -- perfectly whipped with real ice cream. I had a strawberry milkshake as my drink.... and a Peanut Butter and Jelly milkshake for my dessert to go... I really only wanted a sample of the PBJ but got a full one anyway... I don't want anyone to think I'm a pig....... but trust me, it didn't go to waste either.

My sister and I love the freid chicken and BIL likes the meatloaf or roast if they have it at time we go there. is fun place to eat and have had onion rings and they so good there. kids menu have not seen but can go to allears.net and pull up all menus for the parks..:thumbsup2

Sorry but I thought the fried chicken was way too salty. The table next to us said the same thing. So not sure if it was an off day? But i'd stay away from that unless you LOOOOVE loads of salt!

I went once 10 years ago with DH and we really liked the food. We're going in April and I plan on ordering this:
A Sampling of Mom's Favorite Recipes - Crispy-fried Chicken, Fork Tender Pot Roast, and Traditional Meatloaf with all the fixings $19.99

Was going to suggest this. Had it in February and it was delicious.

We were there a couple of weeks ago. I had the pot roast and really enjoyed it. I was also pleasantly surprised that it wasn't a typical Disney sized portion. DH had the sample plate and he loved the fried chicken, but he couldn't eat everything on his plate. I don't think it helped him that he also ordered a milkshake that was really good.

Oooh that's perfect!:thumbsup2 I was just about to respond that we've had the fried chicken, the meatloaf, and the pot roast (my favorite:love:) and would suggest any of them. Then I saw this post and wish I had seen that when we were there last.:headache:

Like other pp have mentioned, the milkshakes are awesome too.:cloud9:

I had a chocolate milkshake there. I am not kidding you, it was the best milkshake I have ever had in my life. I would go back to this restaurant just for that. I had the pot roast and it was very good.

I would also suggest the combo with the chicken, pot roast and meatloaf. I would have to say that the pot roast was my favorite!

Whatever you order to eat make sure to order a PB&J milkshake to wash it down..................OMG!!!!!

Make sure you are texting on your phone when the waitress comes to your table to :rotfl2:

About the fried chicken, can you get white meat only?

I think **brain cramp** you get a breast, wing and a thigh? So plenty white meat-the pieces really are that big. And I saw someone posted that you can ask for all white.
