We will be in a tent, while we tent camp alot its our first time camping at WDW. Any suggestions and advice will be appreaciated. Also, can someone help me with these abbrevations. You're gambling on the weather in January. I've been there when it was near 80 and I've been there when it was near freezing.

I was there last January and it was one of the colder weekends. It rained alot on Sat, so much that we didn't even waste an admission. We needed sweaters during the day and a jacket at night. We nearly froze in the MK on Sunday night and we had 3 layers on. When we got back to our cabin at 1:30am (there were EMH that night) I turned on the TV and was shocked to see that it was 34 degrees outside.

I was also there on New Years one year and had to go to a store to buy shorts because it was so hot.

The pools are always open and are heated. It will be fairly crowded because it's a holiday weekend.

Will the campground still have alot of fun things to do? We will be in a tent, while we tent camp alot its our first time camping at WDW.
I believe they will still have all their usual offerings, or at least most of them.

We've been to the Fort twice in late January and it's probably our favorite time. Yes, it can get fairly cool but for us it was usually in the 70s and 80s during the day hours and 50s and 60s at night. If you're used to 20s and 30s back home, it's great. Plus, the humidity is lower.

MLK weekend can get a little more crowded just because the holiday but afterwards, it gets very scarce until mid-February.:thumbsup2
