I just got an email stating that a copy of the deed was sent to DVC. What can I expect to happen next? When do you think I can make my first reservation? I don't want to bug MS but I'm anxious as all you can appreciate.

Oddly enough about two weeks after I got the notification that the deed was sent to Disney, I received a very short letter from Member Services indicating my points were assigned and available for booking. What threw me off was when I purchased through Disney I got the a huge envelope with all kinds welcome material, points charts, stickers, and other hoopla. With the resale points I got the single page letter consisting of two sentences. It was kind of lackluster :guilty:

It's my understanding that you can download some of the not received documents from the member website and request the others.

Disney's position is that you should receive the documents from the past owner.

I believe I received an email dec30 that the deed was sent to Disney. I called jan 5 (my birthday) to see if my points were in the system, but nothing
:( I just called again now (the wait was less than 5 mins so I was impressed) and we're still not in the system. Am I too impatient?

Yes. Based on the experiences here, it takes 10 days to get into the system. You've got some holidays in the middle, at the time of year when many folks are on vacation. I'd try back on Monday afternoon, but don't be surprised if it's Wednesday before you can get your member number.

Just be patient. You had holidays in between and probably staff dealing with issues conserning the introduction of the Poly. Likely you will receive notice within the next week that you are in the system, can get online at the member site, and start to to be mistreated just like the rest of us.

Lol! Can't wait! Thanks :)
