We haven't been to DL in over 10 years. I've been reading up on info but like to hear first hand from folks who go often - what should we expect in terms a of weather (morning vs afternoon etc), crowds, parking, etc.

We'll be staying off property. Any tips are greatly appreciated

Weather in June will probably be cool/overcast in the morning, warm in the afternoon, & cooler in the evening. I find the weather app on my iPhone for Anaheim is pretty accurate. Start watching it a couple weeks before you go so you have an idea of how the temps change thru the day.

Honestly, that's the best advice you're going to get. Saying its hot or cold or what to wear is so subjective. 65 & overcast is freezing to some, a heatwave to others.

Crowds: I dint know if there's a grad night that weekend or not. I've been a few times during grad nights & personally I don't notice anything except that there are more teenagers. It will be whatever you make of it.

Parking: We have stayed offsite but within walking distance, so I can't comment on parking.

Thanks so much!

I think we're sandwiched in between grad nights (I think) and they're not on the 5th and 6th.

We have been that exact week 4 out of the last 5 years. We typically are in the parks from Saturday through Wednesday. That Sunday (and Saturday) are typically great with the crowds because the So Cal annual passes are blocked. (I know you aren't going Saturday, but Saturday I think even the level above SoCal is blocked and we have always found it to be a great day). That is often the last week that the So Cal pass holders can attend on weekdays, so we have always found Monday to be packed. (Tuesday also feels pretty packed, and on Wednesday the crowd lightens up again).

As far as weather, more often than not, it is cool in the mornings, warm/hot in the afternoon, and then cool in the evenings. I have definitely wanted a jacket or sweatshirt in the evenings more than once.

As far as parking, we have always walked from where we were staying, so I don't know. Even the busy Monday and Tuesday, the first hour or so the park is open isn't bad, so if you got there before park opening I would think it would be fine.
