What to expect in the mail?

We recently closed on a SSR resale and were wondering what to expect from Disney in the mail. We got a 2008-9 vacation planner. Have yet to see Member cards. Do they arrive in a separate mailing? We're anxious to get our info so we can logon to dvcmember.com.

We just signed our deal, have already booked our developer points at SSR, yet haven't actually gone to closing. Still waiting on the $320 to be charged to our debit card.

In the large FedEx box that we received all of our documents in, we had temp membership cards to use that expire in Sept 2008. We also had gotten our temp password for dvcmember.com that we have used to now be able to see our info on our membership, loan, points remaining, etc become available to see. The temp cards were located in the folder with our closing documents in a slide in holder on the inside flap.

We have a projected close date of July 13th for a 185 point contract at SSR. We already have two vacations booked one in October for F&W and another visit in April.

I too wanted to gain access to the DVC member website. No need to wait for your pin # to arrive in the mail. Just contact MS they will ask you some qualifing information then email you a code. I was able to access the site five minutes after I hung up the phone with MS.

I have no idea when our permanent DVC Member cards will come. From what I read on the boards it takes awhile.

Our membership cards took a while to show up but 2 weeks after closing on the sale, member services was able to provide us with our membership number and login to use the site. We called every day starting on day 10 but it was day 13 that they finally had us in their system and we booked our first vacation home! Congratulations and
