DD hasn't used a stroller since she was 2.We have it in our closet but only as a keepsake type thing.
We have rented them at the parks on occasion but not too many times.
We usually go for weekend trips and usually we are all good with no stroller.
BUT we are going for 6 days and I don't want to wear her out and her not enjoy the parks and I don't want us to get aggravated with her wanting to be picked up and carried.
She just turned 5 and only is 35 lbs but who wants to carry a kid when they have legs and can use them..LOL
Would you buy a cheapO stroller to leave in the park when you finish with it or what?
I just don't want to rent one everyday we are there..that just stinks..Esp at the cost and the size of how tiny they now are.

THANKS :)

For one child, who may or may not use it... I would rent at the park. SHe is likely not going to need it any other time, (if you have really not used it for all these years... ), and I would just pay the extra not to have it on the monorail/bus.... especially if there are days you might not use it.

That said, my seven and five year olds rode a bit this summer. It was hot, but they are in amazing shape, (soccer players and swimmers, and nonstop boys :) )... they are smaller, younger, and well a twelve hour day is a lot on them

Have fun!

Does anyone know if they are doing the FREE stroller after 7pm for the MNSSHP?
The first year we went we got one for free for the night when the party started.Last year not so lucky.BUT I had to get DD one because I knew by 1am she would be ready to fall out.
THANKS :)

If I were as close as you are, I'd just bring it. I brought one until DD was 7, and we flew. She hadn't used it at home since she was 2 also, but we go for at least a week to WDW, and always end up needing it for a while. Renting one is expensive, but did that twice when she turned 8 and was tired (she tires easily).

My DH got the big boys a stroller for free at the night time hours, in June. I forgot about that... that was a big help at 2 am :)

DS hasn't used a stroller in a long time either but we are taking one with us this time. We figured he would want it at the end of the day and his old stroller is being used by DD. So I bought an umbrella stroller for $7 at a consignment sale. I plan to leave it at DW and not bring it back. I figured $7 would beat renting one and since my mom paid for it, I didn't loose any money!

I would bring one, for sure. You can get an umberella stroller for about $20 at babies r us. Stroller rental is so expensive. They are easy to take on the bus, and sometimes you have a long walk from the bus stop at your resort to your room and carrying a sleeping child plus whatever else you have late at night is a pain. I say bring it, you won't regret it.:)

THANKS :)
I think I am going to go to a consignment store and see what I can find..use it and bring it back to resell or reuse..LOL

We just got back late yesterday and I am proud to say .... we only got a stroller for MNSSHP! YAY
Other than that she did great :) We mostly got it to help out with bags/candy! And boy did we need it by the end of the night :)
