I havent posted on here in forever!!

I moved in May 20th into Patterson Court (lovely place) and I live with 5 other roommates. One is like my new BFF in the world and the others...are ok...but they are like the dirtiest wenches I've ever met! Our apartment is a craphole and I hate living in it. I dont want to move but I cant seem to get them to clean. I cant even do my own dishes in the sink because the dishes are so high. One of the blinds is laying on the floor and there is just crapeverywhere. And the stove is awful...as for the roomate I share a room with...she's like impossible. Seriously I'm not perfect...like I dont really make my bed and I have no idea how to clean a toilet but at least I try to be organized....this chick has crap EVERYWHERE. There was a box of DVDs just sitting in the middle of my floor! ON MY SIDE...I asked her to move it back and she said no so I had to. Ignorant wench. She sleeps at her boyfriend's most of the time or he sleeps over here (I dont really mind him, I think he is a sweetheart) but really?? Also she's called out 5 times from work and already has a reprimand. 1 more call out and she has a 2nd reprimand....the 3rd one she gets kicked out.

Ugh...I really hate living in this mess

wow that sucks. If it's bothering you that much I'd say cough up the $50 and move out. That just doesn't sound sanitary and I know I would hate to live there.

I mean you can still be friends with your new BFF if you don't live in the same apartment, just explain it to her that it's not her, but you can't live in that filth.

I hate when people don't have any respect for anyone else. Obviously these people are use to their moms cleaning up after them.

I would say take a week or so and just try to ignore it, have a positive mind, and just let the rest of the experience control your thoughts. But I'm guessing you've already been through this stage.

I agree, you might be happier moving out. You can still be friends with that one roommate if you guys have a true friendship. It just doesn't seem like a positive, healthy atmosphere to live in- and definitely now when you're paying per week to live there.

Yikes, thats a really crappy situation to be in. I have no idea what I would do, but good luck figuring it out!

Keep us posted.

nikki just wait till aug. if you are still there, bring me over and ill tell the hos whats up. =]

Try getting all your roommates together for a house meeting to discuss your concerns. Let everyone know that they need to clean after themselves, or set up some sort of a chore chart. If they don't cooperate, you can go to the housing office and they will set up a mandatory house meeting that your roommates will have to attend. Good luck!

Hi sweety ! I think dont spoil your life there and just move to some other one because your room mate is an attitude girl or i think she is a lazy chic wat to say. But i appreciate you in this regard because you have learnt everything while living with this consequences. Bravo girl.

Face it you should just pay the $50 bucks to move and stop complaining. Since your roommates are not going to clean your situation is not going to get any better. So pick up a few extra hours and pay the difference.
