I have a mother/daughter trip planned with my oldest daughter in just two weeks. She just changed her departure flight so that she can get back to her store on our last day. We were originally booked to fly out at 6:00pm and now her flight is 7:00am. She wants to be in her store to meet her new district and regional managers. Her company has resturctured and they laid off her old district manager. I know that this is really important to her so I am working hard at being supportive.

So, should I change my flight and leave with her or do I stay?

If I stay, what are good solo activities?

Tell her to have a good flight and then go do whatever you missed or want to do again :goodvibes

Seriously, go back to whichever park you enjoyed the most and ride your favorite rides or see the shows that you missed. Don't want to go to a park? Enjoy the pool & amenities at your resort. Go resort hopping. Have tea at the GF or a massage & pedicure at the spa at SSR :thumbsup2

I think you should stay.... I completely understand where your daughter is coming from in this economy - she can only help herself by being there. I am sure she would feel a lot less guilty if she knew you were enjoying yourself.

Not sure how long you are staying, and how many days you have park passes, but would recommend just walking around and enjoying EPCOT - shopping all the way! or enjoying the Magic Kingdom by strolling, rather than running though.

I've been many times with friends and family, but have to say I love to spend time on my own, too.

Good luck with whatever you decide!

I would let her go early in the day and enjoy the rest of your day doing whatever you want. (Sounds like heaven to me!) One last day to re-visit anything that was your favorite!

I just wanted to say have a great time, have fun and enjoy your upcoming trip. Looking forward in hearing more from you after you came back.

Have a nice day everyone. :)
