I have two passes from the 80s, each has one day left. I've read that they can be exchanged for modern passes, but how/where do I do that?

Any help would be appreciated!!

You can ugrade your tickets at Guest Relations locations. You can find a GR at any WDW theme park and two locations at DTD. You can not do it at a resort or regular ticket booth at WDW. The one exception to this is at the International Gateway entrance to Epcot. That ticket booth is staffed and operated by Guest Relations and is in fact a Guest Relations location.

Thanks Baloo! Do you know if I can do this in advance of our trip, via mail??

I'm not Baloo, but I do have BEARLY enough time to squeeze in fast reply.

I would NOT send anything like this through the mail (unless absolutely necessary).

These passes only have any real VALUE if you can physically "trade" them with WDW.

If they become lost or stolen, you would have much trouble claiming a loss (you would have to prove you actually HAD them in the first place... and (even if you made a photocopy) that they would have still been VALID once seen by WDW).

As it will only take a very few minutes to "trade" them when you arrive at the proper window, I wouldn't risk the possible loss with mailing them.

One other thing to note, you want to be sure to exchange them for exactly what they are worth. Do not apply there value towards say a 5 day hopper because their monetary worth is very small. But you should be able to get hopper passes with one day on them (assuming the orginal tickets were hoppers) no problem.

Even if you trade them for one day, one park, hey it's an extra day! But I would NEVER send them through the mail!

We had 2 passes with 1 day left on them from 15 years ago. On our trip in May, we used them for our first day there. It took about 2 minutes to get a new 1 day pass at guest relations. This was at MGM.
We did not have any problems whatsoever.
