What to do with the little ones?

So its been 4 years since I had to worry about height restrictions, I am a little rusty. We are taking our DS2 for the first time Thanksgiving. I need ideas of what to do with him while the big kids are on the big rides. I don't know where all the character meets are. Any other ideas?

If you're in California adventure, you could take the little one to the disney jr show (I think they run quite frequently) or turtle talk.

In disneyland, my little ones loved the tiki room, and it's air conditioned, so a nice way to get out of the heat. Or you could go into any of the houses in toon town or goofy's back yard playground. Apparently there are lots of characters in the big thunder ranch area and there is somewhere for the kids to color.

When we took DD4 and DSalmost 2, they were both under 40 inches but we didn't run out of fun things for them to do!

The Redwood Park (I think?) in DCA is fun too - it is just a big exploring type park and I think the only height restrictions are to use the rope swings. DD spent a couple hours there!

My daughter loved Toontown, both at age 2 and age 4, so that we had to drag her out to do the REAL fun stuff. Small World, Dumbo, Casey's train and the carousel are rides that your 2-year old will enjoy that the older kids will likely be happy to miss a couple of times.

In CA your youngest will also enjoy playing around in their water play area.
