What to do with Popcorn Buckets??

Forgive me DISers for I have sinned.........I keep my toilet brush in my popcorn bucket.

Ours is REALLY sad. We keep them sealed to keep the popcorn smell. My little brother is addicted to the Disney popcorn, so whenever he is feeling tired, a whif of popcorn wakes him up.

My son has used his as a candy bucket for Halloween candy.

The bucket fits a sandwhich, snack, juice box and baggie of pretzels nicely. they use it as a lunch box. And no one else at school has one so if it gets left the teachers know who it belongs to.

We use ours for microwave popcorn too. I can't finish the whole bag so I will put the lid on and the popcorn is almost as fresh the next time I want to eat some popcorn. We had 2 from MK, 2 from Epcot and just got 1 from MGM and still need one from AK. I did give one to my sister as well.

We use them for microwave popcorn while we're watching movies too. We put dd's hair brush, hair spray and hair bands. I also put my lunch and take it work, it reminds me why I'm there...work so I can go on vacations to wdw.

I "lent" mine to my daughter to play with in the tub - but then our puppy got ahold of it and destroyed it!

I'll have to remember a new one on our next trip!

We use ours anytime we go out of town to carry cookies, brownies, or rice krispy treats in. This eliminates when we stop at the gas station buying candy and snacks there. Also when we go to Disney World, we always drive, DH is a diabetic, so his brownies - sugarfree- are in the tub with the blue lid and the other brownies are in the red tub. This helps with the kids.

Thanks for all of the other ideas you better believe I am going to use them for popcorn on movies night, keep one at work to use as a vase, and to use at work to store items in my cabinets. Oh no, now I need more tubs!

One tip I heard here is to take them back and fill them with pop instead of buying a refillable mug.

What we've found works best is to buy two popcorns. Use one for a refillable mug at the resort of your choice and the other to store a salad at one of the free salad bars at the counter service restaraunts. The portability of the buckets makes it a cinch to "hop" over to storm along bay at the yacht club, eat salad, drink drink, and use emptied buckets for sand play!
