What to do with large DVC group?

We are bringing down a large extended family gathering to OKW. We have 15 people in 3 rooms so far.

My question is does does Disney do any grand gatherings anymore? What is required? If not, what events are out there for a special large gathering?

Any help would be appreciated. We are frequent travelers to Disney/DVC but this is new territory for us.

I think they do.

you could also do a tour or two.

They still do grand and/or magical gatherings but you have to remember that all the events cost extra. Nothing is free.

Every other year a group of us get together in late October (what we call our Disneyana Unconvention since most everyone met when Disneyana conventions were held). There can be anywhere from 15 to 50 of us. We plan our own "events." Might include a tour, some dinners or breakfasts. We don't stay together all the time. Even if we have dinner together at a park, we break into smaller groups. You will be limited, too, if any of your group is under 16 since that's the minimum age for a lot of the tours. We are lucky since 98% of our group are adults.

Yes, they do. Call MS, tell them that you have a Grand Gathering (GG) and give them the names and addresses of all in your party. They will contact the GG people and get back to you with a magical gathering (MG) number. You then call the GG people directly to schedule GG events.

I would suggest doing matching shirts for everyone and wearing them to the parks one day. When we go with large groups (15+) we have done this in the past and the CM really seem to play up to it. They will often make comments on the shirts and work hard to keep your group together on the rides.

Has anyone ever booked a private area at Epcot for illuminations? Can a fireworks cruise accomodate 15? We do have young ones with us so most of the tours are out.
