what to do with kids for a couple hours on a sunday afternoon in vancouver?

We LOVED Granville Island. Terra Breads was awesome. We shopped the market in the morning for snacks/picnic in the afternoon at Stanley Park. There is a playground on Granville Island that our DD loved playing on as well as checking out the Canadian Geese and the little Goslings. We rode the metro/underground thing from Gastown to Yaletown then took the Aquabus.

We enjoyed walking along the Sea Wall from Gastown/port area past all the houseboats and sea planes on to Stanley Park...to the Totem Poles and the view area that looks over the Bridge that we had just sailed under.

I think we walked 13 miles that day. We had an amazing sunset dinner at the famous Tea House in Stanley Park.

I love the idea of the horse drawn trolley! My kids will love that.
