What to do with just a few points

forgive me if this has been posted, I'm a slug and searching comes up with odd answers. We will be using most of our points for a couple of trips this year. But after all is said and done, we'll be left with just 5 point. Is it worth trying to rent them? (too late to bank) Or should I put them into RCI (or whatever it is now)? Or just "eat' the loss.

You would have to add other points to rent because you need at least enough for one night.

I know with RCI, the minimum was 10 points but not sure what the new rules are with II.

But, I don’t think 5 points will get you anything.

There aren't any rooms that you can book for 5 points. If you go the rental route, you would have to borrow from your next UY to complete a reservation. Is that something you would want to do in order to save 5 points? I'm not even sure what depositing 5 points in II would get you, if you can actually do it.

You might be able to find someone who needs a transfer of a small number of points. Otherwise, yes, you will just have the accept that you will lose them.
