Hello all. We are taking our first trip as DVC member March 2003 (BCV) and I have a question.

We are planning on using TTC for transportation and using the 30 min grocery stop. My question is how does bagage and check in handle your perishable food. What if your room isn't ready right away? Will they hold it for you? What if your food is in a number of bags, how do they keep track of it, or do you have to lug it around yourself?

I know others had to have encountered this is the past, thanks in advance for the help.

hi: bell services will keep your perishables cold for you if your room isn't ready.

As the previous poster said bell services at all WDW resorts have refrigerators to keep your pershibles cold if your room is not ready. They tag and number each bag, piece of luggage etc., that you check. I do not know how they keep them all together since some are in the frig and some are on shelves in the luggage room, but somehow they do. I have done this for years at WDW resorts from the values to the deluxe and DVC resorts and I have never had a problem. Bell services at WDW is great!

Since we are driving our own car to BCV, I'm going to leave our bags in the car parked at BCV while we go to a Theme Park. I plan to arrive at 6am. I would like to store my cold grocery with bell services.

Is there a recommended way of how I should pack my cold grocery? Is it best to keep them in plastic or paper bags? Does bell services store the food in a fridge or freezer or both? I'm going to precook and freeze my food which I will put in a cooler. Are they going to unload my food and stick it their fridge or will my whole cooler be stored in thier fridge?

Please somebody give me better storing info!!!

Thanks,

MMCD
