Inspired by all the ?'s about room noise.
We've all had the noise coming from "next door". But I'm talking about that 1 time that you where at your wits end about the crazy folks next to you. Maybe the baby was sick? Maybe the parents where louder than the kids? Maybe the teens where left alone too much? Maybe the honeymoon just wasn't over.
Maybe the parents lost control of the kids years ago?
How did you handle it? What works best? If you have a great idea, solution please respond. No one seems to know how to handle these things, and usually you just keep living, and start counting the days, till you are ready to go home.
Guess I'll start:
Poly = tokelua = we took all extra pillows and placed up against connecting door, and the next day the mousekeepers put them away. We repeated the action, but mousekeeping were in the room the next day, and told us " we hear why you did that, so we are leaving them up for you". We did call the desk and and were told we could move, but we only had a few nites left, Didn't want to "pack up" in the long run we should of moved it got worse. They started there day at 4am and ended about 1am. Parents dealt with there kids by going out on balcony and locking the door with kids in room, for some "us" time.
(But the kids were usually just as loud when they were in the room. ) I finally went out there and said " I think they just broke something, you better check, and can you have them keep the connecting door shut, its much too loud with it open. Parents looked at me mortified and ran in room, not a word. Now this is abouslutely the ONLY time I have ever felt compleded to say a word to a neighbor, other than "good morning, etc..."
All in all this is the easist way to quickly ruin your trip. Please someone give us the correct way to handle these situations.
Thanks for any responses!

and expected to hear noises and yelling at all hours of the night.
They did a great job of blocking out the pool noises from coming into the room.
After the 2nd time, I yelled something back. It wasn't very nice.
