What to do with back pack, purse, etc

We will have a backpack, a soft cooler in the bottom of our strollers and a diaper bag. What do people do with their stuff when in line or on a ride? Sometimes one parent will stay behind with our infant, but what do people do with their stuff when you can actually all get on a ride together? I know there are lockers, but aren't they only at the entrance?

Right or not we left it all there...1000 dollar camera and everything lol. One time by pirates where everything is open more we brought the backpack with us...I will say everyone left it all alone...

Smart thing would be to put valuables in the backpack and just take the backpack with ya. If someone is going to steal a diaper bag they have big problems...or your lunch...

We always left the cooler and diaper bag, both of which only had replaceable stuff (snacks, clean diapers, wipes...)

I carried my purse on EVERY ride with me, and same with my camera bag (unless my mom didn't ride the ride, and then I left it with her). A crossbody bag really helps, because you really don't even have to take it off when you get on or off rides.

I'm not a small person, and I always found room on every ride for a purse and camera bag, even when we were sitting two or three across.

Don't leave anything behind you can't replace!

Even 20 years ago, I carried a backpack and just took it with me. Mind you, I didn't pack for an adventure in the Andes or anything so it was easy enough to stuff into the area provided for the bags and if there wasn't one, I always kept an arm looped through it. I would never leave your purse or anything else of value in the stroller.

Most rides have built-in accommodations for backpacks and such.
Indy has a hook to hang it on. Other rides have a mesh pouch to put things in.

If it's not important to you and can be replaced, leaving it with the stroller would be fine.

WE do the same. We leave the cooler and the snack bag but take valuables like our camera and my purse. We even leave sweatshirts and blankets in the stroller. We've never had an issue, but I know there's a possiblity things may grow legs and walk away, but I figure if need be we would buy another sweatshirt or blanket. We do our best to camaflouge the things in the stroller and we never leave any Disney shopping bags on the strollers. Like a PP said, I use a cross body at the parks, and carry the essentials in there. Most attractions I just leave it on. The bigger attractions have pouches to hold bags, like Geemo said :)

Yep, us too, leave most things in stroller without a worry, bring backpack in line.

I had a very very small purse that just fit my phone, our small camera and some cards. Everything else stayed in stroller-jackets, coolers, snacks and all sorts of crap we bought. We never felt funny about leaving it and we never had a problem. I dread the day when we don't have a stroller, they are wonderful to keep all our crap in :)

We have a backpack for camera, my wallet, small misc. each of my 2 kids has a character bag with extra clothes for after-splash mt., caprisuns, etc. i have a snack bag and a small cooler for the 10 bottles of water my hubby takes each day. We shove purchases under stroller, under sweaters for grown ups. Never had an issue in 6 yrs of anything missing.

This is officially our last trip with dbl stroller :-(. I will miss it a ton for the 4 cup holders and huge storage!! We never go back to hotel room during day, so we carry a ton of stuff!!!

Another vote for taking the valuables with you, but leaving the non-valuables in the stroller. My friend did leave her wrist purse in the stroller and it was fine, but that's not something I could readily do. We did also leave jackets and blankets on/in the stroller and those were fine as well. Personally, I would leave anything really tempting in plain sight, but I have seen it on/in other strollers, so I guess it's not uncommon.

My husband had one small bag on him with our money and stuff in it. We have a stroller bag that hangs on the stroller handles and I just put a few diapers and pack of wipes and an emergency change of clothes in there and left the food underneath the stroller. We go back to our room in the middle of the day for naps so can replenish anything we need then.

Yes- we left everything in the stroller except for my shoulder bag- but there are CM's who move them around so if you can't find your stroller in the same place you left it check the nearest stroller corral. I almost had a heart attack the first time it was moved!

You're making me miss my stroller even more... We're past that stage and in the "schlep the backpack" stage!! but, fortunately, my dd's who are 10 and 13 will take turns carrying it so it's not too bad.

Back in the day, we'd keep valuables w/ us and leave everything else in the stroller, like you all mentioned. Sigh, I miss those days :).

I almost had a heart attack on our first trip when they did this as well.

Like another PP I take a small body crossover bag. It means I can wear it on rides and when walking around the parks my hands are always free. Plus it means I never accidentally leave it on a ride unlike my DD13 last time we were there.

She had her purse ( my favourite Snoopy purse ) in a small shopping bag and she left it on Gadgets Coaster. It held her 5 day park hopper pass, DLH room key PLUS $260. We didn't notice it was gone until we got back to the hotel that night. Thank God some lovely honest person handed it in to a cast member and we were able to pick it up that night from Lost and Found.

Only "valuables" are the personal wallet/purse and camera bag. They do NOT get left on the stroller. $5k in camera gear goes with me at all times.

Ahhh, so wonderful to hear there are still some honest people out there! I can only imagine the relief! :)

We pack a lot less stuff than you to begin with--even when mine were younger. Anyhow, everything fit in a backpack and the backpack went on every ride with us.
