What to do with all these pins

I have never been a collector or trader, but I have picked up quite a few unique pins over the past 12 years.

Well I am now cleaning house and trying to get rid of stuff that just collects dust. A few of my pins may be rare, but I have no idea what they are worth. Where does one go to find out what pins are worth. And where is the best place to sell/buy pins. I take it from a few post I have ready here Ebay is not the best venue.

Take a look at eBay find your pin and see how much its going for Or you can go to PinPics and check out the Trade/Want to see how many people want it.You can find out all other info about the pin though there also.There are a lot of people on eBay so if they are rare and people want them you can probably get top dollar for them.Take a picture and post them I'm sure someone can help you.

I have seen pins for sale at Dizpins.com. People post their wants as well, so you can browse those to figure out who would buy them from you. If they truly are rare, I bet you'll get a taker.

There is also a reference section where people provide references for each other when a sale/trade has been positive. There you can check for trustworthy traders/buyers.

That's the best advise I think....if there's a ton of people looking for the pin they are looking on Ebay...on the other hand if you see a bunch of auctions with your pin it's not that valuable....

eBay may be a good place to start but also check pin pics for sure......Good luck finding the value of your pins!!

there is also a magazine out I think it is Tomarts Disney pins

We have that guide, it doesn't really list prices per say, what it does is gives a grade value (A-whatever) and you use that guide to figure out the "worth" of your pin. It's not really the best guide, I think they could do better.
