What to do with a thursday night and a friday ( full day) besides disney?

Ok thinkin about flying out on a thursday and using the pool for the night, but what to do on a full day friday?? Were going to be doing a land sea package for sat -sun....

Don't know the age of your son, but who wouldn't like Sea World, or one or both parks at Universal Studios? The Dolphin Experience at Discovery Cove is great also.

Hi! Don't know where you are staying, but here's what we did on a non-park day last trip! We got up a little later than on a park day, had a nice leisurely breakfast, rented watermice, explored our resort, had a swim, changed clothes then headed over to the Boardwalk for dinner at Flying Fish, then walked around the Boardwalk for a while. It was actually one of the most relaxing days we've ever spent at Disney! You could also rent surrey bikes, go to DTD (our ds could spend the day at the Lego store!), or try Disney Quest. If you don't want 2 pool days, you could go to DTD on Thursday night and have dinner at RFC. The food is decent; but the atmosphere really appeals to kids! After dinner you could check out some of the shops!

You shouldn't have any problem filling a day with fun things to do though! Last trip was the first time we've ever done a non park day. Now we have decided to work at least one into every trip!

On our day off from the parks we are sleeping late, doing a Character Breakfast at 8:20, Pirate Treasure Cruise for the kids at 9:15 out of the Grand Floridian, then we get picked up at the Contemporary docks at 1:30 for a fishing expedition in Bay Lake.
