What to do with 2 little guys while DH on Segway Tour?

My little ones are 4 and 2, and I need to find something to do with them while DH is on his Segway Tour. The tour is at Epcot, so I thought we'd have breakfast with the princesses, but of course, I couldn't get an ADR until 9:50, and the tour is from 8:30 to 10:30. I chose PSB because it's pre-plated, I wouldn't have to mess with a buffet and two kids by myself. The date will be 8/31, so it all depends on what's available. We're staying at CBR and will use Disney Transportation.

Thanks for ideas!

If it was me, I'd keep the 9:50 breakfast and go to Epcot a little later than your husband. His tour will be done by the time you guys finish eating. I have 4 kids and we have to split up all the time. My oldest 3 are 10, 8 and 5 (he turns 6 while we are at WDW Jan 2006!!). This is the first time that the 5 year old will be one of the "older" kids for most rides. If you want to go over with your husband, then I'd check out the Land and the Living Seas (if not down for refurbishment while you are there) until time for breakfast.

We gave my parents Segway tours for Christmas last year since we were meeting them at WDW in January. We (DH, DS just 1 yr at the time, and I) went into Epcot through International Gateway (we were staying at BWV) when the park opened and we hung around in the UK for a while to watch for them then leisurely toddled over to Norway to see if we could see them, then we walked back over to the UK to catch them again (we got some great pictures) Since the WS isn't officially open at that time it was great for DS to stretch his little legs without the worry of crowds. Oh yeah, we had grabbed cinnamon yummies from the Boardwalk Bakery so we had our breakfast while hanging around watching for them. I know the entrance at IG is supposed to be for resort guests over in that area before WS opens, but I'm thinking that they'd let you in if you said you were on the Boardwalk for breakfast. Just a thought!

I agree with Cinder, keep your AR or try every once in a while for something earlier if you prefer. Otherwise, send DH off ahead of you and then catch the bus to Epcot, since FW opens at 9 you could do some exploring and maybe a ride or two before breakfast. My kids loved spaceship earth and journey into imagination at that age and you can ride 3 in a row. They also loved lots of the stuff in both of the innovations pavilions. Then dh can meet you after breakfast and you can finish your day. FWIW I have done Disney with my girls as a solo adult since they were 15 mos and 3yo and we have a blast - you will have lots of fun on your solo morning so don't worry.

Wow, you guys have more confidence in me than I do! I think I will stick with the PSB (if I can still get it, didn't make the ADR) and go from there. Thanks!

Hey don't worry, after all who is with them 1-1 (ok 1-2) most of the time? -YOU!

You probably take them to the libarary, mall, even a zoo or swim class. I know I do, even though my DH is a very hands on dad. Once you get to WDW, you will go into Momyoverdrive and have a BLAST with your kids.

If you can load them into the minivan and drive them to the zoo you can certainly pop on the bus with them and hit Epcot for some fun. If you are leary about bringing the stroller on/off the bus then skip it for just that morning and rent one when you get to Epcot. IMHO that was the most difficult part of doing a solo trip with my kids. Pop the 12 bucks in this case it is totally worth it. My girls are 21 months apart and we have been doing disney as "three girls" since they were 1 1/2 and 3 1/2 and they are now 8 and 10. FWIW we do go with DH but he dosen't have the vacation time or the love of Disney that we do so we do a trip here and there without him.

If you have specific questions or hesitations post away or even PM me if you like.

I know Epcot has the "dancing" fountains but aren't there some that the kids can play in too? Let them wear their swim trunks and have some fun! Hopefully you can get an early ADR or else you might have to change them into dry clothes.
