My DS turns 7 while we are at WDW and I am planning on taking him to Chef Mickeys on his actual birthday and getting him the button etc. My question is, my DD turns 5 a few days after we get home. Should i pick a day and just celebrate her bday while we are there?

yes, definitely. so she won't feel left out. A disney birthday is way better than an at home birthday.

Oh yes. I agree. My ds turned 14 on our last trip and my other ds had a birthday (his 3rd) coming up about 2 weeks later. We celebrated both birthdays with special dinners on different nights, birthday buttons, and they received bday cards from Mickey and Goofy in our room one night. They both had a great time!

I agree. That would be way cool. And think of the bragging rights. Wow! You are an awesome parent.

Thank you all for the help. My DH and I were wondering why we didn't think of this sooner. Our only concern was that they checked actual birthdays or something but it isn't like a little girl carries around a drivers licesnse :rotfl2:

PS twoprincesses - love the pics of the tea party. I am planning on doing that with my little girl while we are there. She is an absolute nut for Princess Aurora. We are hoping (fingers crossed) for CRT ressies as well (where my DS has requested permission to hide from the princesses under the table - MEN :rolleyes1 )

Don't worry there won't be any birthday verifications. People go to WDW and request special birthday attention when it's not their birthday all the time! (Including myself!)

Oh and about the tea party, that's great that your taking your little one! She will love it! I wasn't crazy about the food, but the experience is awesome. The girls had a blast pouring their own "tea" and straining it. Make sure she dresses up! There were a few girls that weren't dressed and I noticed that they were complaining to their moms. And as for CRT, your husband won't be hiding under the table! Mine had the same attitude, but then he asked for a solo pic with Cinderella!

Oops, sorry I read DH but it was DS... either way, he'll take pics! (but won't show his friends)

When we were making reservations for our TS meals they asked us why we were going and I told them for my kids birthdays. My son's is the day before we leave and my daughter's is 3 weeks after we get back. She said she was putting with our reservations that it was my kid's birthdays and to make sure we stop and get the buttons when we go into the park.
