What to do with 2.5 year old from 6-8 p.m.

Does anyone know if they run the movies at the Beach Club all year long?

I believe yes, but it is also, I believe weather permitting.

The movies are on a blow up screen on the beach and they are run later at night - after the sun sets so not good for the 6-8 PM time frame. When we were there they started at 9PM. They post a list of the movies to be run for the week on the beach.

Most are appropriate for the young kid/tween set (5-12) but a few are good for toddlers too. When we were there in May they were showing 101 Dalmations, HS Musical 3, Beverly Hill Chihuahua, Lilo and Stitch, etc.

Prior to the movie they do a beach fire with Smores. This is supposed to be fun too. No sign up necessary but you do have to purchase the supplies.

They have moved the movie to the Solarium at the BC when the weather was not so good. But they can't have S'Mores there.

Boardwalk also has a Commuity Center. By 6-8 pm it may be used for evening childcare (??? but I'm not completely sure of this). However, at WL they let us go in and borrow some puzzles and games to take back to our room. You can also rent dvd's there (free to DVC members). Sometimes my kids crave a couple of quiet hours before bed after a busy day at WDW.

There is the Sand Castle Club at the Becah Club that does evening day care. My DD loves it, but they need to be potty trained and I am not sure if there is a minimum age.
