i may have to move my trip up earlier and i was just wondering what those of you who have been in late april do when the parks close at 7? i went in september when they closed early and there wasn't anyone around and nothing going on the time we were there. is april different?

I don't know where you are staying or who you are going with, but this is what we do:

We stay at the PBH so there is a beautiful piazza, I know all the on-site hotels have a different theme.

We have a nice dinner Tchop Tchop, Bice, The Palm then go for an after dinner drink somewhere,or go for a gelato. The pools are also open, it's nice to go to the jacuzzi or for a dip at night. We might be boring, but we are usually asleep by 11:30.

Agree. Go to dinner. If you want action and have the money, you can do a dinner show like Dixie Stampede.
Otherwise, it's walking around the hotel, swimming, drinking, watching TV, and then off to bed so we can get an early start the next morning.

My feet are tired after walking around all day.

The off peak times like September and late April, mean less crowds. So you can tour the parks much faster, with no lines. While the parks my close early, it's much better not having to dodge people in the walk ways.
