We will be in Disney for the President's Week in Feb. We are staying 2 nights at the Wilderness Lodge (Sunday & Monday) and then switching to the Beach Club for Tues, Wed & Thursday nights and heading home on Friday afternoon.

This is my dilemma: Should we do MK on Monday (we are going to be right there but I'm afraid it is going to be very busy) or on Thusday (saving a little of my favorite park for the end part of the trip).

I'm hoping to hit the MK for a few hours on Sunday - it all depends on how our arrival time & much enery we have left from the drive - it is an Extra Magic Evening and the park is open until 3am!!!!!!!!!

So when do you think I should do the MK - Mon or Wed??

I wish all dilemmas were this much fun!!

I make it a rule to avoid all EE hour parks, 18+ resorts all directed to go to this one park...think about it! :sad2: Also ask yourself if the park is open until 3 a.m. there is a reason for that, aka crowds. If I were you I would be at MK the next morning an hour before opening when all the people whe went the night before are sleeping in:thumbsup2

We find the Early hours good, up to about 11am it starts to get crowded.

If MK is open till 3 AM on Sunday, I would definitely go first thing Monday morning! I bet everyone will still be sleeping!

I personally avoid the MK on Mondays. We've been going for 34 years and Monday is always one of the busiest days IMHO.

I agree. I try to avoid MK on Saturdays and Mondays. I believe MK is usually people's first stop when they visit WDW and most people tend to start their vacations on a Saturday or Monday. Just one of my crazy theories :teacher:

We usually visit President's week, and it has been our experience that the weekend before and the actual holiday are the most crowded days at MK. We now avoid MK on President's day and visit later in the week (still crowded but more manageable). Whatever you decide, have a great time!
