What to do the morning of the wedding?

Did anyone have a late afternoon wedding? And if so what did you do before the wedding? Other than getting ready obviously! I'm still in the early stages of planning but hoping we will get married about 4-5pm so with only a few hours beforehand for getting ready I'm worried about what to do in the morning. I was thinking of maybe all us girls going to a spa for some beauty treatment and the boys maybe going to play crazy golf or something? What do you think? Or what did you do?

I like the idea of spa and golf, the only thing I would be careful with is getting sun burnt from golf or having a reaction to something at the spa (although if it is just a massage or manicure you are prob fine).

I remember reading one PJ where the girls did the tea in the morning/early afternoon, that could be fun! Or any kind of breakfast in a fun place.

Our wedding will hopefully be at 5 pm. We're doing a first look with our photographers and pics beforehand so we don't miss the whole cocktail hour. So that would be at around 3, then I'd have to get ready, so figure around 2 hours, so now we're at 1 pm. That time may be pushed even earlier if a lot of the girls get their hair and make-up done too. By the time I wake up, shower and everyone gets there, there's not much time for other events. I'm thinking of getting some fruit and wraps delivered and just having some food and hanging out with the girls while we all get ready.

If I do schedule something it will be pretty low key, I don't want to be tired by the time my wedding comes around. I also want my guests to be well rested because it's going to be a late night and we have plenty of stuff planned.

I've heard of people doing a bridesmaid brunch beforehand. The spa sounds nice but no facials! Manicures or pedicures would probably be a good treatment to pick.

My wife and I went for a 4 or so mile run the morning of our wedding, along with her 75 year old dad. What a great way to start the day and burn off some stress.

Cheers.

We got married at 5pm and even though there wasn't much planned that morning it still flew by! We all slept in, my mom made a nice breakfast for us (us meaning me, my 2 BM's, and my mom), and I had a waxing appt that AM. (I don't recommend doing any spa treatments the day of your wedding-- if anything-- just mani's/pedi's, but I was stuck so off I went to the appt) When I got back it was a little after 11 & Carolyn Allen's was there steaming the dresses. I had to pack an overnight bag for the GF and get that to Bell Services (who sent it to GF for us for that night) My hair/make up person came around 12 and we all just lounged around, chatted, and enjoyed the time. (Photographer showed up @ 3) It was SOOOO relaxing!

I think it's best not to plan anything for that AM b/c the day is already stressful enough that resting and relaxing is the best thing you can do for yourself.

Our ceremony doesn't start until 3:30. I plan on spending the better part of the morning at the spa.

We are planning for a 2:30 pm ceremony and the morning of we are planning on having the whole family meet for breakfast at Cinderella's Castle then hit a few of our favorite rides... then my mom and I will head back to the poly late morning to start getting ready and DF and his family will stay at the park a little longer then go back to Carribean Beach and get ready. If you think you'll be able to sleep in and relax the day of I would go for that but knowing me I won't be able to sleep and will do best the day of if I'm a bit distracted and just focus on having fun!

My wedding will be at 5pm. I figure we'll start getting ready around 1pm or so for a "ready time" of 3:30. We have a very small wedding party and, aside from me, I don't really know if anyone else is having professional hair and makeup.

I'm planning on inviting all of the ladies in the wedding party, moms, and my close girlfriends over to the Grand Floridian Cafe for brunch around 10:30 or 11. I can't think of much else more fun than Mickey waffles and mimosas!

We had a 7:30pm ceremony with a staged first look before that.
We were both up at about 9. My parents had a breakfast for our family so we stopped in there for a few minutes then went and had breakfast by ourselves. I took a walk and then spent about an hour making sure that everything was ready and organized. I also straightened up the room because I knew that 6 of us were getting ready in there and Randy would be there to take pictures.
The hair and makeup people came at about 12:15 and Randy showed up at 4.

I'm planning on having a 5:00pm ceremony so I plan on spending the morning at the spa at GF with my mom. Massages and probably some sort of parafin treatment. I plan on doing my nails, toes, and eyebrows at home before I get to Disney because I trust no one but the lady I've been using for 7 years.
