Recent change - you can't go down on the beach by the sea lions in La Jolla anymore. People shouldn't have been doing that anyway. I don't think that affects the sea cave tours or the sea kayak rentals.

I’m so glad they made that change. We never would go down to the beach itself but far too many (humans) did not respect their space!
