What to do on July 4

We will be leaving at 8:30pm that night and are trying to make plans for the day. I'm thinking we need to leave for the airport around 6pm to give us some extra time for traffic. We are staying at FW and will either leave our bags there or put them in the trunk for the day.

Our original thought was to do the Seas Aqua Tour (12:30pm) that day and then have an early dinner and leave for the airport. We would do both in Epcot to minimize travel time around the resort.

I'm a bit concerned about the crowd levels and our ability to leave the park around 5:30pm. Should I be? While we've been at WDW on the 4th before and know it will be very crowded, we never left on the holiday itself so don't know what to expect. At the time, we were at the Poly and stayed there until after the fireworks and then went to the MK.

Any thoughts or alternate ideas?

Leaving the parks will be much better than trying to get into the parks =D

:) Thanks. Any other ideas that might be better than what we're thinking?
