We are staying at the DLH next week, and I have resigned myself to the fact that our trip is going to be wet. I know at PP there is a room with a sandcastle TV and cute little Adirondack chairs where kids can watch movies. What do you like to do with little ones when it is raining at the resort?

DL in the rain is a rare treat. I am very much a commando, although this time I have an infant - and i'm not sure how to pull off with him. I have the stroller cover, but I don't know how much he will be able to handle.

Put on a poncho, rainboots and enjoy the empty parks!

DITTO!! Our first trip was one of the wettest stretch ever seen in Anaheim. We bought ponchos for ourselves (wear a baseball cap over it so your face doesn't get wet) and we bought 2 more to keep the stroller dry. We laid one on the seat part and then put the sunscreen up and put a poncho over that to keep it dry while we rode rides. DH and DD who was 3 at the time rode Pinochio 11 times in a row without getting off and Peter Pan 10 times!!!!! Go for it and enjoy. We all had a blast!!!!

Don't know what forecast you're looking at, but Accuweather does not have rain in next week's forecast. Usually a slight chance of rain is usually just a short sprinkle, not an all day event.

Take advantage of the empty parks! Wait times are almost nothing. Many of the best rides are indoors anyhow. Fantasyland was fantastic in the rain! If it starts to really pour and you are sick of it, be sure to hit up shows. The Hill Billies, Aladdin, etc. We spent a great deal of time in the Animation Studio one year, really took our time and checked everything out. Enjoyed all of the drawings on the ceiling in the store next door. I love it when it rains n us at Disney...but we go commndo style!

Don't forget to hit up the hot tub at the end of the day and top it all off sharing a bottle of wine as the kids fall asleep.

^^^^^^^^ that's what we did... and we had strollers!!
