Outlet shopping? Golf? Epcot (not many rides there)

Same thing happened to us. We are friends with couple who live in Tampa. They came for a day visit while we were at Boardwalk. We showed them around the resort when they arrived, took a Friendship boat around for a tour. They had never been to a theme park. We didn't think they would want to buy a one day park pass for a few hours. We decided to try Downtown Disney. We had a late lunch at T-Rex. It had just opened and my wife wanted to see it. Did I say they are an older couple? Well they loved it. We did some shopping, well wifes did then took boat launch for another tour (hey, free boat rides). We made it back to Boardwalk just as things started to come to life but they had to head back home. They had a wonderful time (go figure) thanked us over and over. I know this wasn't much help but somehow they fell in love with Disney World. They were so impress with the detail they have gone back on their own.

DH and DS just got back from a one night trip down to Orlando. They got to stay in the Orlando Science Center (Cub Scout trip). But the Science Center was pretty cool, from their description.

My godparents who live in Vero Beach came over and visited us for a day in Oralndo. They came in the late afternoon, and we just had them come over to the condo, we had a few snacks and visited at the resort. Walked over to the pool and sat out there for a while. Then we heading to the Polynesian Hotel where I had dinner reservations for all of us at Ohana (it was really fun) and we hung out a little at the lobby and the grounds, headed back to the condo for a little more visiting (watched an NCCI basketball game with team we were all rooting for), and they were on our way.

We really just did the same things we'd do at home with a nice dinner at a Disney resort added in.
