Wife and I are going to see a band at a place called Havana. The show is at 8PM. We plan to get to the area at about 3pm. What to see and do?

Thanks!

There's some good beer/wine tasting out there, actually. Chaddsford Winery and Unionville Vineyards (or Winery... I can't remember) come to mind.

Run a google?

Are you going to have dinner at Havana? Walking around New Hope is great. There used to be a great ice cream place called Thomas Sweets but I'm not sure if it's there anymore. There are a bunch of little stores and restaurants. You could go across the river to Lambertville too.

There's a place called Peddler's Village around that area too but I'm not sure how close to New Hope. You could take a drive along the river, go to Washington's Crossing.

Also, there's Bowman's Tower and Bowman's Hill Wildflower preserve.

What they both said! I loved to spend time in New Hope & Peddler's Village before my move to FL!!! A few glasses of wine and some window shopping!!!

as others said just walking around new hope is great. The ice cream place is really good but i haven't been there in awhile. There also was a great kitchen supply place where i got cast iron corn stick pans.

We are very familar with Peddlar's Village. I don't think we will eat at Havana's. I looked at the menu and not much there for my wife. I know of Lambertville, but have never been there.

Well, if you want a really nice dinner, you could go to Lambertville Station, across the river.

It's been awhile since we were there but that's where I became an engaged lady.

I LOVE New Hope and Lambertville :cloud9: You can walk across the bridge to Lambertville and eat at the Hamilton Grill Room...Yummy :goodvibes Do you like Thai? There is a delicious Thai restaurant in Lambertville (I believe it is called House of Siam?). Just remember, once you cross that bridge into NJ--Many places are BYO. Which I really like, b/c I can bring my own favorite wines and know that I am not being overcharged by the glass.

Now you have me wanting to go to New Hope/Lambertville :moped:

Who are you seeing at Havana? Is that the place right on the water? I think I was there once to see a band called Secret Lover (or something like that).

We are seeing The Radiators. www.radiators.org

Kind of a mix of Dr. John, Greatful Dead, and the Neville Brothers. I have seen them 20+ times, but not at all in the last 3 years.

It's at 61 N. Main Street in Lambertville. They don't have a website, but if you Google Thai and Lambertiville, you will get some results.

It really is very good. It is also a very small restaurant with weird hours. Call to make sure they are open. Then tell them you are comin' and to save you a seat ;)

Sticky rice.....Yum :cloud9:
