My daughter and I will have 4 days in St. Paul/Minneapolis in a couple of weeks. We are looking for some fun things to do. We will definately be spending some time at the Mall of America and a stop at IKEA is on the list (my daughter is 13 so these were the "must do")

Does anybody have any other recommendations? We are staying at a hotel near the St. Paul RiverCenter (Saturday we will be at a dance competition there) and will have a rental car.

Thanks!

Valleyfair.
Como Park zoo is nice for an afternoon.

I don't live there I just visit often enough.

I LOVE minneapolis :lovestruc The times we've gone, we saw a play at the children's theatre in Hopkins, Minnesota, it's maybe 20 minutes drive from the downtown, not very far. It's called Stages theatre, they've put on a really wonderful productions and the tickets weren't all that expensive. If you google Stages theatre, I know you can buy tickets online. Well worth it!

Go for a walk around one of the "lakes" in Mpls. Calhoun, Lake of the Isles, or Harriet. Visit the Minnehaha falls, or a boat cruise on Lake Minnetonka, or in the area of where you are staying there are boat cruises down the river. You'd be surprised how much time the MOA takes. Enjoy our no tax on clothing!

What does she like to do? Museums, theater, sports??
