What to do in Falmouth Jamaica?

Help me decide what to do on Jamaica day. What have you done that was not too expensive but also unique to Jamaica?

We're a family of 5, two adults, kids 11, 9, 3. Mom and the oldest love a good adventure. I'm afraid the three year old will limit what we can do. We live near the best beach in FL so a beach day is not high on our list. Trying not to spend a ton on this stop. Any ideas?

Where is the best beach in Florida?
Can you leave the 3 year old on the ship so you can enjoy Jamaica? I don’t know the rules for leaving your 3 year old on the ships. Jamica is not a nice place but has some very good excursions. Dunn’s river fall. Zip lining.

We did the Falmouth Walking Food Tour by Jamaican Culinary Tours in August 2017. We felt safe the entire time walking with the two guides. They were locals and no one came bother us. People kept saying hi to them as we were walking through the streets. We learned some historical facts, tasted some local foods and saw part of the full eclipse. The jerk chicken restaurant staff lent us the special glasses to take a look of the eclipse. It’s awesome! I think your 3-year-old can be walking with you in the stroller. The tour guides were knowledgeable and humorous. We really enjoyed the tour.

We've done tubing down Rio Bueno twice. It was a blast but most likely your 3 yr old won't be able to do it. We've also done the Falmouth Heritage Walk, which we really enjoyed. Never had issues with safety. I believe this has now been combined with the food walking tour mentioned above.

Cannot recommend the Tranopy Adventure more as a Port Adventure in Jamaica.

Thanks for the tips. Tranopy sounds cool as does tubing. Did you book through Disney or someone else?

Best beaches are in Northwest Fl. Shh. Don't tell the world. ;)

We’ve done the Tranopy Adventure twice and loved it, don’t know if the 3 year old can do it though. The Falmouth port is very nice, new construction and only people working there are allowed in the secure area. I would only do DCL excursions in Jamaica, parts of that island are pretty sketch.

We did the Jewel Runaway Bay Resort. It is very expensive, but totally worth every cent. I just wish the ship was in port longer. I've done about 5 other all inclusive beach excursions through Disney and this was the best one yet.
