What to do in Ensenada?

Our DC ports there in October but we aren't too interested in the excursions.... What is there to do close to the port? Something we can walk to? Anyone have any experience there?

Stay on the ship! I was there on the Hawaii Oct 2012 cruise and like you wasn't interested in any shore excursions. We took a bus that came to the pier that took us to town. It wasn't free but not expensive. When we saw where the 'town' was we quickly made friends with 4 people on the bus who were also on our cruise and stuck together like glue and did not stay in town long. This is not a port to walk around with children. There were a few shops in the terminal but that is it. There is nothing walkable that I can recall. Honestly, stay on the ship!
