What to do in Cozumel?

We did the chocolate factory tour with our kids where you make your own chocolate and get to sample a lot of varieties of chocolate. The cost is now $15 per person if you book with them directly which is pretty good for the experience you get. Check out Chocolates Kaokao factory tour on TripAdvisor if you want to see some reviews.
i second the KaoKao experience. our kids loved it. it was a short excursion, not too expensive and gave us plenty of time to enjoy an empty ship.

Went to Cozumel last year with 2 six year old boys. We hired a driver and went to the ruins (pretty basic - it was super hot and the kids hated this part but I found it interesting and we wanted them to see something cultural), then to an outdoor restaurant on the ocean on the opposite side from where ship docks. It was good. We stopped by the chocolate factory but we were running low on time at that point so we just bought some chocolate and didn't do tour. Then we had our driver drop us at Dolphinaris, which we had booked direct and the price included pictures. It was a fun day.

We loved our day in Cozumel! We rented a Jeep Patriot & explored the island on our own. We stopped at a beautiful spot along the coast for pictures, then ate lunch at one of the restaurants right on the beach, then made our way to the ruins at San Gervaiso. It was a great day!
