What to do if short 1 point???

I am getting ready to book for next year and I have already reached my max of borrowing points and I'm still 25 points short. I know dvc will let me buy 24 points for $15e, but that still leaves me 1 point short. Any ideas other to get 1 point???

Just a reminder you can't purchase the one time use points until the 7 month mark. And they are available only once per UY. As to your 1 point shortage you could check the rent board for a few points, but you will probably have to rent more than you want. And then they might not want to transfer them to you. But instead make a reservation for you.

There is always a 25 point add on if this shortage is going to be a repeating issue.

Thanks I appreciate the info! Maybe renting some points is the way to go for now. But eventually I think I may need to purchase more for the future!

You actually want to do a transfer, not "rent". If you "rent", you add a night or two to your trip via a second reservation that would have to be linked.

We rented a reservation for one night... worked out well, and it is linked. I suppose it being such a great transaction was due to a great renter!

It may still be two separate linked reservations. Meaning you will need to check out and check in again. Maybe two magic bands.

I'm pretty sure you can purchase 25 one time use points.
